Born out of the prairies and driven to a love of film at a very early age, Dan Nicholls has mined offbeat human behavior as the director of multiple award-winning short films.
Most recently he directed the horror-comedy "Stuffy", which is in its festival run and has been officially selected at Victoria Film Festival, Blood in the Snow, and the Pasadena International Film Festival. Previous credits include the award-winning short films "Giraffe" and "That's Life".
Past works as a director include four produced episodes of the web series "Mehlennials". Other short film credits include the surreal comedy "Bear Apocalypse", "20 Seconds", "Torture.AVI", "Worst Laid Plans", and "Green Treatment" (which he also wrote and co-starred in).
Dan currently resides in the west end of Vancouver and doesn’t go outside nearly as much as he should.
